About
The Art of Homeschool was created by Nikita Pujara to offer families in Oceanside, California and surrounding communities a thoughtful, intentional approach to learning. Across everything we do, the focus is on creating a learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and capable, and where growth is approached with persistence without pressure.
Our approach combines strong, evidence-based academics, paired with rich literature, hands-on exploration, and meaningful experiences, that encourage curiosity, confidence, and a genuine love of learning. Our small cohort environment gives students the opportunity to form real friendships and grow alongside one another and because our grade levels advance with our students each year, families can find more than a class for one season– they can find continuity, community, and an educational home that grows with their child.
Background & Training
I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with 15 years of experience working directly with children and families while supporting educators in effective teaching practices. With graduate-level education in child development, learning science, and behavior, my training offers a more specialized focus than a traditional teaching credential. I understand the mechanisms that drive learning and what instructional strategies are most likely to produce meaningful results.
I created The Art of Homeschool to bring that foundation into a small, engaging learning environment where children experience the "just right" balance of support and challenge. Each part of the program is a thoughtfully designed to complement the others. The result is a cohesive educational experience where children can learn, connect, and grow.
