We went to Hill Country Science Mill in Johnson City today. They have a homeschool day every month, from September thru May, its the second Wednesday of the month. The tickets are discounted to $6 per student, and parents are free. Some of their favorite exhibits are the Fractalarium, Race Track, Create an Explosion, Wind Turbine Test Bed, and the Giant Lever. We went to the KMFA’s 50th anniversary event. It’s a classical station in Austin.
We went on a field trip to our local PBS affiliate, KLRN, with our homeschool group.
We went to an open rehearsal for the San Antonio Symphony for the first time. They played Mozart symphonies. Most of the audience was high school age, but their were some younger homeschoolers like our kids.
